ACG and Its Portfolio Companies from Silicon Valley Were Invited to Visit Tianjin Binhai-ZGC Science Park

From May 23 to 24, 2017, Zhongguancun Information Valley Co., Ltd. invited the Silicon Valley Enterprise Delegation, ACG and its portfolio companies, to visit Binhai-ZGC (Zhongguancun) Science Park in Tianjin. Window of Silicon Valley is one of the international cooperation platforms jointly set up by ACG and ZGC Info Valley. The delegation included:

 

  • Cady Yu, Chairman of ACG and President of Window of Silicon Valley

  • Stella Lu, VP of ACG

  • Sean Wang, Senior Business Manager of ACG

  • Eugene Liu, CEO of Vtry

  • Maxine Wang, Founder of MyFamli

 

The delegation was also invited to tour the cultural center, the science park, ancient town of Beitang, the embankment of Youngding New River, and other landmarks in the area. 

 

On the morning of the 24th a symposium was held on the first floor of the Administrative Committee Building.  Attending the symposium were:


  • Jin Donghu - Executive Director of the Tianjin Binhai-ZGC Science and Technology Park Administrative Committee

  • Han Meng – Project Supervisor of Administrative Committee  of Tianjin Binhai - ZGC Science Park

  • Wang Mingtao -  Science & Technology Committee Intellectual Property Office, Tianjin Binhai New Area People’s Government

  • Zhou Jiang – Vice President of Lishen Research Institute

  • Zheng Yi - Project Manager of Beijing ZGC Information Valley Company Tianjin Program

 

Other attendants included CEO of Tianjin BeiChuangBaiLian, Manager of Baidu (Binhai) Innovation Center, Manager of Jingdong (Binhai) Incubator, and others.

 

The symposium was chaired by Zheng Yi and addressed by the Executive Director, Jin Donghu.  Executive Director Jin welcomed for the arrival of the delegation and hoped to take this opportunity to further deepen cooperation in introducing advanced technologies such as Virtual Reality and Big Data Network Artificial Intelligence to the Science Park. Hoping to effectively integrate with local businesses in order to expand the market and to promote development of the local industries in Tianjin.

 

Promoting quality projects and building a communication platform were important topics of this symposium.  Chairman Cady Yu stated that the five projects introduced this time are mature with cutting edge technology. They also have broad prospects for industrialization.  They hope to fully discuss and exchange ideas with leaders and distinguished guests at the meeting to deepen cooperation and seek cooperative development. After Chairman Cady Yu briefly introduced ACG and the team, representatives from each portfolio company also provided an excellent description of their product features, business models, and market prospects respectively.
